Code of Conduct and Ethical Issues
Guidelines to safeguard client's welfare and the integrity of the profession. Members are required to abide by the Code of Professional Ethics contained herein.
Professional Development
HKADCP brings members with common interests together through its regular special interest groups and regular meetings.
Annual General Meeting
Registered members have voting rights and are kept updated on Association matters as well as future directions at the AGM.
Events
The Association runs talks on various Discounted registration fees are available for members. Subsidized rates are available to student affiliates/associate members.
Member Discounts
Eligible members are entitled to discounts for talks and workshops organized by the Association.
The HKADCP's Register of Clinical Psychologists – general public can search the Clinical Psychologist registry online to find out whether a psychologist is a current registrant.
Networking Opportunities
Provides an avenue for networking with others to communicate, exchange ideas, knowledge and information through social events exclusively for members as well as other HKADCP functions.
Psychology Student
The Association offers membership to psychology students at a reduced rate. Student affiliates are encouraged to network with other practicing psychologists at HKADCP functions.
Is a HKADCP registered clinical psychologist a qualified clinical psychologist?
Making reference to latest international professional standards, HKADCP has laid clear and objective criteria for admission of registered clinical psychologist (Please click here for details) . Apart from high requirement for doctorate level of applicants, HKADCP also has adopted credential criteria requirement, under which applicant's professional qualification is counterchecked by at least one of the established and reputed professional or statutory psychological organizations in comparable developed countries.
